Warns Peter Obi Against Exit
Ahead of the 2027 general elections, fiery Lagos-based cleric, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has delivered a striking prophecy about the newly formed African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, describing it as “divine” and warning Labour Party’s Peter Obi against pulling out.
Speaking during the unveiling of the 31st edition of his annual prophetic publication “Warnings to The Nations” in the Oke-Afa area of Lagos, Ayodele said the coalition—recently adopted by Atiku Abubakar and a number of opposition heavyweights—has spiritual backing and cannot be dismantled by ordinary political drama.
“The coalition is divine,” Ayodele declared before a packed audience of journalists and church members. “Only a spell will dismantle it.”
The prophecy comes just days after top opposition figures—including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and ex-ministers like Rotimi Amaechi—adopted the ADC as their platform to challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC in 2027.
But while the coalition may appear strong on the surface, Ayodele warned that Peter Obi might still walk away from it—an act he believes would severely harm Obi’s political future.
“Peter Obi will still pull out from this coalition if care is not taken. If they wrongly advise him to step aside, he will not win,” the cleric warned. “But if Obi steps down, then use Amaechi. No other name is credible—only Atiku will contest.”
Bold Warning to Tinubu
In a direct address to President Bola Tinubu, Ayodele cautioned that the ruling APC’s recent wave of political defections and internal maneuvers were not signs of guaranteed victory.
“President Tinubu, you have not won 2027 yet. I’m giving you the warning now. I will show you how people will defeat you. Don’t be deceived by the governors defecting to your party. It’s not over.”
Ayodele maintained that his warnings were not mere political analysis but divine instructions revealed through decades of consistent prophecy.
“Since 1994, God has spoken to me clearly and without confusion. These books are not just written works—they are divine instructions. People mocked us, but the fulfilled prophecies are louder than any man.”
About the Prophetic Book
Ayodele’s “Warnings to the Nations”, which he has released annually since 1994, includes predictions for world leaders, major political transitions, and national crises. He claimed the 2025 edition carries warnings not only for Nigeria but for several countries and their leaders.
Global Angle — Trump Also on Watchlist
Ayodele didn’t restrict his warnings to Nigeria. He also issued a fresh prophecy regarding U.S. President Donald Trump, urging caution.
“Donald Trump is overreaching,” he said. “He may soon begin to target key institutions. There are looming threats around him, and he must be careful with his movements.”
As Nigeria’s political climate intensifies ahead of 2027, Ayodele’s fiery prophecies are likely to fuel both speculation and strategic recalculations—especially within opposition ranks. With spiritual leaders increasingly shaping public discourse, his warnings may prove too weighty for political actors to ignore.
Obi, Atiku, and ADC leaders are yet to respond officially to Ayodele’s comments. The political coalition’s next move may determine whether this “divine arrangement” holds—or unravels.
